Gathering Supplies

We ensure we have all the necessary cleaning supplies and equipment before we start. This might include brooms, mops, vacuum cleaners, microfiber cloths, cleaning solutions (all-purpose cleaner, glass cleaner, disinfectant), scrub brushes, dusters, garbage bags, and gloves.

Decluttering

Before we begin cleaning, clear away any clutter and personal items that might hinder your cleaning process. This includes picking up toys, magazines, and any other items lying around.

Dusting

Start from the top and work our way down. Dust ceiling fans, light fixtures, shelves, and any other surfaces. Dust window sills, baseboards, and corners as well. Use a microfiber cloth or a duster to trap and remove dust effectively.

Vacuuming and Sweeping

Vacuum or sweep the floors, including carpets, rugs, and hard surfaces. We make sure to reach under furniture and in corners where dust and debris tend to accumulate.

Wiping Surfaces

Wipe down all surfaces, such as countertops, tables, shelves, and appliances. We use appropriate cleaning solutions for each surface type to ensure thorough cleaning and disinfection.

Kitchen

We pay special attention to the kitchen as it's a high-traffic and often dirty area. Clean the sink, faucet, and countertops. Clean the stovetop, oven, microwave, and other appliances. Wipe down cabinet exteriors, handles, and knobs.

Bathrooms

Thoroughly clean and disinfect all bathroom surfaces. Scrub the toilet, bathtub, shower, and sink. Clean mirrors, glass surfaces, and tiles.

Bedrooms

Dust and wipe down all bedroom furniture, including nightstands, dressers, and headboards. Vacuum or clean under the beds.

Living Areas

Clean and dust all furniture, including upholstery if applicable. Vacuum couches and chairs, and spot-clean any stains. If there are any electronics we use appropriate tools to remove dust without damaging them.

Windows and Glass

Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors using an appropriate glass cleaner. We ensure streak-free results by using a microfiber cloth or a squeegee.

Floors

Mop hard floors using a suitable cleaning solution. Ensure that the mop is well-wrung to avoid excess water on the floors. For carpets, we consider using a carpet cleaner or steam cleaner if necessary.

Final Touches

Once everything is cleaned we do a final walkthrough to ensure you haven't missed any spots. Check that all surfaces are dry and that there are no cleaning product residues left behind.

Disposal

We properly dispose of any garbage and waste that was generated during the cleaning process.

Safety is paramount. Using appropriate cleaning products, follow product instructions, and ventilate the area's cleaning as needed. Also, we are mindful of any specific instructions or cleaning preferences provided by the villa's occupants or owners.
